ugh. there really is some shitty stuff on people's galleries around here. i mean, really shitty.


i don't think dA was ever meant to have a bunch of people posting their low quality, unfocused pictures on here. how it annoys me.

yeah, yeah. i know i haven't posted much [i've only posted one drawing!], but seriously...do people really think they are skilled at this photography stuff? why must they take a picture of a pointless thing they think is "pretty", then post it on here?

i have vowed to myself that from now on i will never, EVER, in my life as a dA user post something i truly believe isn't worth being called photography [or any other for of art for that matter]...
I WANT TO BE PROUD OF MY WORK BECAUSE IT'S GOOD, NOT BECAUSE PEOPLE WHO DON'T KNOW SQUAT ABOUT THE ARTS SAY IT IS.

and that's just what annoys me the most...the fact that people actually compliment these idiots...thus encouraging them to post more the sucky stuff up..

NOTE: I am completely aware that the deviations posted here on dA aren't always photography...But this applies to all the sorts of works posted on here..not just photographs. It's just that I see more of a problem with the picture stuff than the other kinds of works.
